We have been watching the olympics at home (Miss Wilson will not let us watch at school!)
The Chinese have won 31 golds and New Zealand are 19th on the medal tally.
We are reading journals about the olympics. One of the stories was called Rowing to the olympics it was about aman who practiced a lot and then he won a medal. It was a fiction story but based on real life.

At Kiwi Can yesterday I really enjoyed the Olympic questions!
Like:
-We had 2 gold maedals, but we just won one last night so now it's 3!
-And we have 1 silver from biking!
-Also 5 bronze medals!
-NOW WE HAVE GOT 9!

-Our country, ours was New Land!
-Flag, ours was like a natural one!
-An oath, ours was to respect others cultures, play fair, and to always try! (I think)
The OLYMPICS are awesome. I watch the OLYMPICS every day. I love the GYMNASTICS its awesome how they do THREE FLIPS IN A ROW.
NEWZEALAND is doing really AWESOME with the OLYMPICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kiwi Can was really FUN the other day I liked all the questions they were fun as!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
